All memes aside, it really is dead, I haven't enjoyed a single match in a long time. Seriously. I don't think this game can compete with things like OW and DOTA. It's on life support but I’m fairly certain that in a year or two the player base will shrink even more. Honestly I'd love for valve to add something new to TF2, something that will make it popular again but i don't think they can realistically do anything.

They will probably just add more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ CS:GO guns.
