Team Fortress 2
The Booties and Tide Turner.
To make the boots more viable (it's useless right now), change its stats to this:
Ali Baba's Wee Booties
If a shield item is equipped:
+25 max health on wearer
+10% move speed on wearer
Kills while charging refill 100% of your charge meter

And also change the Tide Turner's stats to this (remove the 100% charge on kill):
The Tide Turner
+25% fire damage resistance on wearer
+25% explosive damage resistance on wearer
Full turning control while charging

Problem solved, no more madbads whining.

Idiotic responses:

You know, I could actually see this working. The only thing I would take off would be the speed bonus on the Booties/Bootlegger. It just seems unneccessary.

Why? You lose a powerful ranged weapon in exchange for boots that don't explode. I think more speed for a melee-only class is good.

once again, buffing an low skill ceiling instakill pick subclass is a stupid idea

Someone doesn't like Demoknights. If instakills are bad then why have Spy and Sniper remained exactly the same since launch 7 years ago? If they were that broken Valve would have changed them LOOOONG ago.

you weren't around when this game didnt have laser weapons
valve started being complete garbage at some point during the development of portal 2, and it's gotten worse over the years
steam alone is enough reason to not give valve a smidge of blind support

All i'm gonna say, is it isn't useless if your not using the tide turner. I like the splendid screen for Demoknight and tideturner for grenade launcher

If they do nothing at all with no shield, then you can't play Booties/Sticky/Melee - Its not a competitive style but it is fun n making them do nothing would ruin it

I just want to say I am impressed about your section "Idiotic responses:" to pre-cover some statements.
Personally I would give a penalty to these Booties that the more you turn while charging, the shorter the duration of the charge.
