About hats...
Why the hell do people say Hats are so expensive?
They give you absolutely no perk whatsoever, why are they so much?

Throughout history, men have worn hats as a way of showing how much better they are than other men. “I buy hats,” a behatted man seems to say. “I am better than you.”
In wartime, hats were a useful way of conferring rank, and ensuring that casualties were confined to the lower classes (hence the famous command of “Don't fire till you see the tops of their heads” at the Battle of Bunker Hill by William Prescott, a general renowned for only shooting enemy combatants who were poor). During peacetime, hats have been instrumental for men to let the non-hatted know just who is wearing the hat around here.

Yep, whitout Hats TF2 doesn't exist anymore.

No Hats = no TF2

and in CS:GO:

No Skins = no CS:GO

Mate, this is stupid.
It's about the gameplay, not the stupid memes and hats being overused.
Apparently, you need help.

There aren't any memes here. Why are some hats so expensive? Rarity. Without hats TF2 would've most likely lost support long ago. The no perks is the best thing. TF2 can have a store to earn money from the F2P model while still keeping the game balanced for people who don't want to spend money.

Why do you have a computer? You don't need it, plus it's expensive...

You don't question intentions regarding fun, m8.
The price of style is the heftiest of all, my friend.

The hat thing is like everything else. It gives uniqueness to players. With only 8 classes, we would all look the same, they give us hats to look different. But with over 2 mil players in TF2, we will always look like someone else.

But if you don't like the hat thing, please give me all your hats.
its the community without hats the game would fall...
