Maybe true, but deffinatly not spychecking.
That would work, but in all the scenarios they already know there a spy, pyros job is to FIND the spy, and if the team wants they can do that.

Scout is faster than pyro and shoot any frieldlies a couple of times to spy check. pyro is only better against cloak and dagger spies who just sit in permanent cloaking all game long, but who gives a ♥♥♥♥ about them?
Not against dead ringer spies. Killing them as soldier or heavy is too annoying to bother. -Even if you know where they'll go you are too slow to catch up before its ready again.
