What I would recommend doing instead is playing regular Medic, but aggresively. Don't be afraid to attack with your patient. Use your primary and meele when threatened, don't just rely on other players. Surprise your enemies. I think that's the playstyle the Ubersaw was designed for. As a Medic, you're the most important player on the battlefield, so trying to whip your enemies with a meele weapon can be a very risky thing, but if you can do it, you can drastically shorten the time it takes to build an UberCharge.
