Early version of TF2 for free to download?
I really, really want to do the custom weapons trick. It's sounds so fun.

EDIT: Specifically a 2011 version or summat like that.

If you have a beefy computer you can probably run an xbox 360 emulator (xenia is pretty good from what I've heard) and then play the Orange Box on that (might be able to find the file on the bay for those who pirate or something like that). OR if you own a PS3, XBox 360 or XBox One then you can buy the Orange Box for those, but that would cost money of course. I say this all because the Orange Box contains TF2 and it has never been updated and it may work on that.

But maybe if you look on the bay for those who pirate or some other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ then you can (maybe) find the original files completely unchanged and play off of that, but I don't really know.

Steam blocks me from saying "the bay for those who pirate" for some reason.

I'm pretty sure any mention of piracy breaks the steam rules, or am I wrong?

Isn't that illegal?

Then again, the game's free now.

Mentioning piracy aint. Requesting piracy links and supporting pirating in the forums is breaking terms.
