I read both of them. Metro 2033 is my favourite book of all time, but Metro 2034 was not that good. Also the author (I can't spell his name xD) said that he does not plan to make a sequel to the Metro books in near future, which is very sad :(. But if I'm wrong and there is going to be a 2035 book, I will definetly buy it.

I have read 2033 and 2034, i personally prefer the first book, but i also read a metro book from a italian writer, and it was surprisingly good.

2033 is awesome, the audio book is very well done too. The guy reading it does a great job at jumping between voices for each person. Highly recommended.

Metro 2033 is an amazing book. I think it's a must if you want to enjoy both Last Light and 2033 to the fullest. It is worth every minute of your time.

I've read Metro 2033, but can't get my hands on an English copy of 2034. Metro 2033 is my second favorite book (Roadside Picnic is #1).

The part where Artyom has to walk alone in the pitch black tunnel and he feels as though someone is right behind him is the most scary thing I have ever read.

There're actually quite many series of books, taking place in the Metro world, but they're written by other authors, not Gluhovsky. Unfortunately, I don't know if they're available in other languages
