I have a Radeon GPU.
and I get some error about physx missing. Is it possible for me to download it?
I tried verifying the game cache but that didnt seem to work.

I had a problem launching game I had to go to F:\STEAM GAMES\Steam\steamapps\common\metro 2033\install folder in there is PhysX_10.02.22_9.10.0222_SystemSoftware run it as admin and install (rollback) phyis x then game should launch. Some reason new phys x wouldnt work. hope that helps great game with headphones.

I was given the same error message last night, it was late and I was tired so I turned off my pc and went to bed just tried it again and it booted up no problem. That being said not to sound like a tech support hotline but turn your pc off then back on and see if it works.
