So, would your opinion here be one of those opinions of other people not to pay attention to? Or do you not include yourself in the advice? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times. The issues noted at the start remain. The developers tried to address the issue of slow transitions but they apparently can't fix it and have stopped trying or they just stopped trying. Perhaps we'll see a fix in SOTS III, should there be such.
Transitions between screens is max 5 seconds(if even that).
Turn times are about 10-15 seconds at most.
It has been a great game for me for atleast the last 6 months. So I agree with tooonz.
Great game when it works. Sad for those where it doesnt. That has probably something to do with optimization on some systems.
..for the first 50 turns than it just turns into a lag fest with choppy scrolling and menu transitions that take longer than my kettle.
Funniest think is that it is not my computers specs as the lag can be temporarily fixed due to me quitting to the menu and than reloading that save file. So there must be something in the code that is not optimised.
