Worth getting to replace SotS 1?

Checking to see if there have been any updates to the game, or a change of opinion since SotS 2 first came out with its negative reviews.

Well the game has been heavily (and is still) been patched so it works fairly well now. As for the biggest issue that most have had, the dreaded Admiral system, is still around but most of us that still play regularly have found the system to be quite useful (like myself) or have learned to make do and still enjoy the game. So if you have had no issue with that then you should have no issues with the game now.

it can never replace the first one id say, they feel almost like two differnt games in the same universe, but yeah if you can get end of flesh on sale for like 10 bucks or less its worth it for sure. they still have not fixed a few ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bugs though :[
