One key thing, paradox abandoned it.
kinda slow compared to EU4 or CK2.
Democracy is a drag, the elections bombard you with mssges.
Technology does not reward the player enough and colonizing requires specific "inventions".
Thats another thing that bothers me "inventions", they suck I just wan't to colonize africa and the pacific but I cant because i require specific invention not a specific tech.
*Note I do need techs, but the inventions are the most "useful"
Crisis happen either too often or not as often.
Military battles are completly unpredictable, your odds might be in your favor but you might lose due to attrition, lack of supplies, lack of reinforcements, your enemy is or might be more advanced.
Politics suck, most of the time is denouncing, raising influence, increase relations and trade.
Pros (Updated. Since I wrote the cons first I will write the few things I enjoyed)
You can create Byzantium (my personal favorite)
Many forms of government.
Fighting rebels is satisfiying
You can create puppet governments out of colonies
Formable nations like california republic, austro-hungaria and Italy.
I'm sorry to all of the fans, I really wish this was a great game but it's not.
