Are DLC4 maps available in Survival mode?

Are the new MW3 DLC4 maps available ONLY for multiplayer, or are they available for survival mode as well? Previous DLC's listed new maps as "multiplayer/survival," while the new DLC4 maps just say "multiplayer," but I'm not sure if this is significant or not.

Apparently not. It seems that DLC 4 is just for multiplayer. However, this isn't fair because it's available in survival mode for PS3 and XBOX 360...but not PC. Not sure if steam made a mistake adding the maps or what.

Just to clarify, did you install dlc 4 and confirm that the maps do not show up on the Survival DLC map list? I was able to find videos showing survival mode for some of the new maps like Gulch and Parish, but as you noted, it appears that the video was from a console version of the game.

I have not yet been able to find any official word on whether or not the PC version of dlc 4 supports survival mode or not.

Yes, I can confirm with myself along with a few others that the maps do not show up in survival mode. It's listed and playable in multiplayer but not survival. However, for console versions the DLC 4 content is available for survival mode and multiplayer mode. I believe that this is a mistake by either Steam or Infinity Ward and they need to be notified of the problem. Simply because it is not fair for the maps to be available to play in survival mode for console versions but yet the PC version it is not playable.

I agree that it seems more like a glitch than an intentional difference. It just seems unlikely that something about the pc version of the game would specifically prevent these maps from working in survival mode.

Has anyone heard any official information about this?

I haven't heard anything. I believe that they forgot to add the survival mode content. I think someone should notify Infinity Ward somehow through the cod forum's or steam.

Thanks for the feedback everybody. I just confirmed that I can also play the new maps in Survival mode. I did have to do the "delete appcache folder" thing to get them to show up in the game at all -- kind of surprising that this is STILL randomly happening after 4 DLCs -- but once I did that and started Steam up again, the new maps showed up under both multplayer and survival.
