Is it worth getting
I have been a big fan of raven for years i loved heretic, jedi outcast, star trek voyager and soldier of fortune. However i hated quake 4 and i havent played wolfenstein. I am curious if singularity is worth the price

IIt's great, it is like a mixture of Bioshock och Half Life. There are lot of puzzels and the story is great, so is the atmosphere. Though the graphics aren't that good, and the combat feels a bit...out of place. But You can live with it.

I found it to be suprisingly fun in single-player, but I'd wait for a better sale price if I were you: the campaign is fairly short at around eight hours and online is completely dead.

I've got it in full price, but mine is non-steam. I'm actually thinking about buying it, but instead I bought PS3 version at amazon because PC version it a little bit too expensive.

It's definitely worth purchasing! @ElfShotTheFood: 8 hours seems to be quite average when it comes to the single player part of recent FPS games. Plus, you can complete a 2nd walkthrough if you want, so that's easy 16 hours of fun.

go on sale for more than 25% off!!!!!, and it would be an instant buy for me to add to the collection of single player games i need to play.

I'm hoping this game will go on sale in the winter sale. It's long overdue for a discount.

Multiplayer is dead but the Single player is amazing, in my honest opinion (it may be my love of all things Soviet) Singularity is far more enjoyable than Bioshock. It gets compared to Bioshock a lot because it has an almost identical interface, objects of interest glimmer yellow, your player gets some excellent plasmid-like special abilities and the storyline is followed by listening to recordings and finding projector reels.

It's so much like Bioshock that it feels like a mod for that game, but with a great long storyline, fantastic level design and graphics and some epicly badass enemies that make Bioshock's splicers feel tame. A really great purchase, even more so now it's under a tenner.

Late to the party here. Singularity is absolutely worth getting. I found it to be incredibly fun to play. So many people bashed this game for copying others, but they fail to understand the game copied all the good parts of other games, which is NOT a bad thing.

The slow-motion/bullet-time weapons are incredibly fun in this game. Moreover, the story is actually really thought-provoking. Too bad this game sold so me it is an unknown gem.

no not really the game in and of itself is a good idea but the game itself was executed in an ok manner.

This is actually the best FPS ever to come out from activision.

Its a 100% solid and unique FPS game. i enjoyed this a lot,

So sad there will ´be a sequel.

100% recommend this game if you enjoy fps games like Halflife and such.

it is not a solid and unique FPS game it is just the same time manipulation done differantly. This is actually the best FPS ever to come out from activision. really, i mean really? There are FPS far better in activision's repertoire, like the Call of Duty series which the company was pretty much built on and "Activision was disappointed with Singularity's sales, which came out under 400,000". and IGN said the game is "ultimately limited by a lack of imagination where a neat time-manipulation idea is handcuffed to a by-the-numbers first-person shooter". and over all the game was mediocer when i played it and the sores that it was given reflect that.

CoD was popular and thus it must be good? I can dig that logic, I might start watching Glee and maybe see what all this Twilight fuss is about also.
