how and where do i het a keycode for multiplayer i bought the game through steam

theres a known issue. Contact activision. They are working on it

Go here, make sure to check out my comment on the numbers and email, do your research on what is for your country as far as the activision numbers, email and other ways to contact them, which means that there could be a different number for your country other than what I have provided, and if the numbers I gave don't work, or if you don't see one for your area, then you will need to find the right ones, and go through the activision forums and website.

Be sure to go through every page in the link below, and check the other threads on this forum as well for more info. =)

You mean to tell me you haven't seen all the people the past month mentioning their issues with an invalid keycode with trying to make an in-game name or when trying to join multiplayer?
Alot of them got it fixed. :P

At the top of steam, click "Games".
Next click "Activate a Product on Steam".

Check your email, even the junk folder and other folders in your email for a sent keycode.
Be sure to check all the threads on the forum for more info, and go to that link above that I set in a comment, to contact activision about your issues.

nah, havent been looking at the wfc posts. does this keycode activate the game itself? or the shockwave character i was supposed to get with the game and nvr got cause they ditched the pc dlcs xD

No just some that have in-game name creation issues, has alot to do with the activision servers, as those aren't managed through steam, just the game's download is through steam, and I don't recall there being a key code for this game, but some might need it.

This thread is more than a month ago, anything could have happend in that time. Why bump it unless he says he's still having the issue?
