Hello, my GTX-560 card´s temperature usualy stay at 60C when playing. When playing Krater temperature goes to 70C with low graphics settings and 1024x768 resolution. is this normal?

It have happened before, both with AMD and Nvidia cards.
AMD could be solved with a driver update, not sure if the Nvidia heat problem can be sovled in the same fashion(by updating driver), but it is worth a try if you haven't done it already

I think this is pretty normal. With some indie game, my graphics card can get to the boiling point, even with cooling, while some high profile games like RAGE or Metro 2033 can get to a mere 70C°. I wish I had a system like yours :S

really need to tell us if you have vertical sync enabled, cause that's the first thing people should ask. obviously running 100+ fps is going to heat up your card, v-sync will cap it at 60.

firstly, wrong is that vsync caps at 60fps. vsync caps at monitor/display refresh rate. vsync is one way to stop tearing and clipping. f.e. the game delivers 100 fps, your monitor has 60hz. this can result in tearing if you do actions in the game that require the 100 fps to display smoothly but the display doesn't get 40 frames and they are not seen by you, you will notice that as screen tearing. if you have a good display that can handle such situations, you won't need vsync.

secondly, vsync is applied AFTER all rendering is done. the gpu does the same work all the time, no matter if vsync is on or off. high fps won't raise the temperature, it should be the opposite. low fps should raise the temperature, cause that means the gpu can handle stuff and is at maximum usage of the ressources and all of them cause heat.

@OP: I don't know the engine of the game yet, it might be the case that all you other games engines rely more on the cpu and don't make that extensive use of gpu operations. it can be that the engine that krater uses actually makes some use of your gpu.

Update:

i managed to cool my graphics card by ~10C by downloading 310.61 beta drivers for my card.
not saying it works for everyone, but atleast did the trick for me.
