Accident.
I was playing around with Krater because I just bought it. For some reason it lags like hell, so I set the graphics to low, which still lagged. So I tried changing the resolution to the lowest. Stupid idea. Now I can't even use the mouse to reach the Settings button. Any help? Thanks.

Try to update your videocard with the newest driver

No, it's not that. The resolution is so low, it zooms in on one part of the screen, and I can't reach the 'Settings' button because it is offscreen.

Alright go to your Steam folder and then to /steamapps/common/Krater/data and open de file settings.ini there will be screen_resolution edit it to your like. Hope this will help

If you think this is a garbage game, then what are you even doing on this forum?

Cause i'm frustrated with the absurdity.
Since the game is hell broken, buggy or whatever, and developers think the players have to do dozen of tasks to fix for them, this game is a garbage, even if you, me or whoever like to play it.

I've had no problems with the game after roughly 60 hrs of gameplay. However if you are playing on mac or using a Nvidia gpu just put this game away and return for it in mid 2014 or later. Checking the fatshark forum might help.

Never had an issue with the game in terms of glitches. It's a great game...

Regarding Nvidia i find it odd that people are having issues, my brother has SLI 680's, no issues.

Try to get a post up on the fatshark forum and hope that The_Mess can help you =P
If the problem hasen't solved itself, which I hope that it has.

if you havent found a way to solve it, if you are on a pc go to
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Krater
find the user_settings.config file and either delete it or manually modify it.
Deleting it will force Krater to redetect stuff and all should be fine again.
Manually changing things you can set the resolution to whatever you wish

stuff in said settings file can be tweaked, look in this post on the old steam forums for guidance

http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2813707

There are settings in the settings file that you can change manually which aren't available for changing ingame in the same specific way. A properly tweaked settings file can improve or almost remove the lag completely (depending on your systems specs).
