Same problem here, Windows 8 64
♥♥♥♥ing ridiculous... hate these crappy developed games, go to hell!

The slide bar just work with mouse wheel, you can't click and drag, so the mouse click doesn't work and that's why we can't click the OK button.

Just tap the entire keyboard to see if some other key like ENTER help, but still doing nothing. That's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...

I don't get it.
Where are that issue listed on that topic?
The_Mess Jul 30, 2013 @ 5:31am
Each numbered bit describes the basic issues covered in that section, so you need to actually read them, which isn't that big a task frankly.

Scroll down to number 4 as it's covered in that section, which deals with non-crash-to-desktop issues such as performance and resolution bugs.

I read, generic description in that section that we can even be sure will work it. That's not about performance or resolution...
Editing game files and stuff like that... I also head to official forums and it was a huge mess of bug topics all over the place.

I know you're just trying to help, and you are a moderator on official forum, but just don't handle this like a matter of read or don't, or like people are just lazy to search.

These guys just have to release fixes, not asking for people do their job.
So i bought a game and now i have to spent HOURS to make it work? What the hell is that?
I'm hating these guys to the bones, i hate all devs like this, just want them to starve.

With an attitude like that, I see no reason why I should donate any of my time as a volunteer to help you in future.

As for fixing your particular issue, which has a relatively low incidence rate, it's 5 minutes of reading + implimentation. If that's too damn much work for you, that's firmly your problem.

On fixing this - it was never a serious bug, and given the limited team resources Fatshark had at hand and the shear size of the older bug lists it was too low on the priority list to get fixed. And currently there's only about 2 people left working on Krater due to other on-going work at Fatshark.

T_T

Here's an idea, use your damn brain and put this in perspective instead of this knee-jerk crap that paints game devs etc as monsters for not having the resources to fix stuff to AAA quality.

Your attitude matches with the devs, expecting everybody sit patiently and happy, or just do the job we are not assigned from. I know is not your job also, but you must at least understand you are a volunteer for people who doesn't care, and knowing that, you can't talk with other customers like that.

Your own words confirm what i'm saying:

So it's 5 minutes to me (of course it is not even closer 5 minutes, because i just spent like 40 just looking around), but it's a damn work for devs, so seems to be firmly my problem to have bought that crap.

If they have limited resources, what i REALLY doubt for a game that have strong marketing at steam, why not put ALL resources on fix what they already sold? It is not so difficult to understand, it's like buying a TV and not being able to turn it on because the company can't delivering a working TV and they are now working on a Radio, but still selling the fail TV. They sold the thing... you know what it means? It must work, period.

Some of the "most important" bugs as i see, is on that to do list for a year, and they still selling and advertising this garbage (yes, it is a garbage).

It's hell wrong, and i really don't understand people like you that just doesn't get that point.

Here's an idea, use your damn brain and put this in perspective instead of this knee-jerk crap that paints game devs etc as monsters for not having the resources to fix stuff to AAA quality.

And here is an idea to you.
Use your own brain to stop talking ♥♥♥♥ about people you doesn't know, and about things your have being brainwashed to accept.

I'm really sorry if you think i dislike your trying to help. Actually i appreciate it. I just don't want to WORK to play this game, i'll not work to fix anything this hard way, i'll just talk this game is a crap for everybody and it's ok to me. I pick up the cards and now i'll throw this crap at some digital garbage, a good place for this game.

Unfortunately i pay for that, and in my country we got refunded in that cases, because it is not tolerated.

You sell, you deliver... kind of simple.
We don't have to understand or support anything we don't want.

Fatshark is dead to me, like EA or any indie or big publisher that doesn't respect customers.

If you want to be part of this, it's your problem, just don't think you're right and everybody that doesn't think the same way are wrong, because it's exactly the opposite.
bbaker3117 Aug 2, 2013 @ 7:15pm
I read the fixes, and saw the one for not being able to click, i tried fullscreening it but it still isnt working. Really dont know what the issue is at this point.
The_Mess Aug 2, 2013 @ 7:24pm
Are you running Krater with a 2 or more monitor set up as the bitsquid engine fork used in krater does not (currently, future versions should I think) support multi-monitor set ups :(

Otherwise, I recommend that you edit the resolution in your user_settings.config file, as wehn all else fails that usually works :P And thanks for replying finally.

Not using two monitors, will try the res change. Sorry for the late reply went out of town for a few days XD
bbaker3117 Aug 2, 2013 @ 8:36pm
Fixed, but the problem is still unclear. I changed the resolution on my monitor a couple times to see if it was that and it didnt help so i set it back to what i had it originally, but i set my icons to medium instead of large and now its working.... So im not sure if it has anything to do with that or not, not sure why it would but ya never know.
bbaker3117 Aug 2, 2013 @ 8:40pm
Follow up -- Changed the icons back to large and the problem happened again, so it is indeed icon size. You guys might want to add that to reccomendations, Going to start playing now finally!
The_Mess Aug 2, 2013 @ 11:34pm
Sweet, good find and thanks for the nice and clear info!

First time I've actually seen the cause you've pinpointed as well, as usually it's solved by the standard troubleshooting stuff.

[edit] bbaker's solution now added to the support 101 post :3
