Cortex (Hard level in CO-OP)

So I had the joy to try solo the hard map, since I felt the medium one was somewhat easy.
I completely steamroll the whole map, get to the boss and charge him. I get a few hits in on him, and then suddenly he does something, and all my poor toons dies :< Damn you hardcore mode!

Other that more stam! has anyone got a tactic for him? Other than shoot n' run + hope to be lucky x)

He uses some kind of beam to instant knockout the chars. In my case he knocked out only one at the same time. So I'd suggest to simply kill him before he takes out your entire team.

Well that sounds stupid. Especially on hardcore. Permanent injuries and such. Must ask fatshark about this x)

Sorry for being necro but have you found any tactic to beat this baddie?

Oh yeah. I did it alright. You need to run away with the character he does the beam on, untill the beam breaks, I can't recall if I ran away with all of my characters or just the one that was getting beamed
