Freezes on Load Screens

Fun game so far but it often freezes on the load screens for me. The spinning circle on the load screen in the bottom right stops spinning and I can't get back to windows. Froze one other time when I tried to swap my tank to a new recruit. I always have to hard reboot my computer. I've tried fixing the game files and it always says that if finds one to fix. I've also run the exe files in the Krater Steamapps folder for C++ and DirectX several times with reboots. I'm on a fairly new laptop with Windows 7 64bit Pro, Radeon 6630, core i7, 8 GB RAM. Any ideas what's causing the freezing?

Hello Dr. W[RH],

Please try uninstalling the game, rebooting your PC and installing it again.
If that doesn't fix it, let me know.

Is you windows fully updated ?
Do you have the most recent drivers for your GFX card ?

would be nice with a dx diag and a log file

to make a dx diag

(1) Go to the Start button
(2) in the searchfield Type dxdiag and click it so it runs
(3) While viewing the System tab wait for it to finish and click the "Save All Information..." button.
Save your DXDIAG report as dxdiag.txt on your desktop for easy access (you may delete the file once you have copy pasted the information to pastebin)
4. put the dxdiag on pastebin.com or similar and post the link here

If there is a Krater log file it can be found in

Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Krater \console_logs

take the most recent one and post it on pastebin.com too and post the link here

if there is a file in
Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Krater\crash_dumps

post that too on pastebin and put the link here.

Thanks for the quick responses. Unintalling, rebooting, and reinstalling seemed to help a lot. Was able to play a few more hours today with only one freeze. Definitely a fun game. Thanks again.
