- Updated Polish Strings
- Fixed an issue with Russian keybindings
- Fixed a bug where items were disappearing in co-op
- Quicklooted cash now displays properly
- Fixed an issue where certain achievements weren't working as intended

this is a pretty good sized patch for language strings and fixing achievements

word! i mean even if they used REALLY REALLY BIG FONTS it still doesnt account for it.. even if they used audio for that matter i dont think it would account for it.

"Polish String" is actually 4 inch thick rope, that's why the patch is so big.

Patches are probably huge because Steam doesn't always play nice with some game engine's file formats. Unreal engine games, for instance, will constantly have huge updates when very little actually changes.

sorry but over a gig? did they add a ton of videos or something? just editing text would be in the bytes even on the worst of days megabytes.. a gig.. theres just no way something drastic wasnt changed (or added).

Co-op is completely broken now, it won't let you join other players games. crashes the client when you try to create a game after a failed invite. won't let you cancel when you try to join a random game.

Hello,

Well the size of the patch is as Barbarossa said - more depending on which files been altered causing bundled content having to be downloaded again even though that the new changes are much smaller. Patch download size doesn't necessarily correspond to the amount of new content, changes and fixes it will contain.

An alternative would be to use unbundled content which would reduce the patch sizes substantially. But that would on the other hand dramatically increase level load times.

TheStarheart - that is worrying news. I will have our QA look into this today. Anyone else experiencing the same issues?

how dramatic are we talking? because it isnt like they load in a blink as is. downloading a full gig to fix 322 lines of code had better be saving 300+seconds.. some people have bandwidth caps ya know.

Fatsharks QA team has been playing with the patch all day, we fixed some of the issues and we will continue our testing til everything we can find is fixed.
