Game broken??

i played this game back around the time it was released and really enjoyed it but after wanting to play it again recently i have found its proper broked.
it gave me some HTML code on the main screen and cant click OK
verified cache all was fine still the same problem
uninstall and reinstall still a problem
read through a few pages of "fixes" and nothing worked
I asked my friends if it works for them and after they installed the game they had the same error all 8 of us
i suggest others stay away from the game

Yeah it's a little weird until you got the resolution just right. What I did was hit alt+enter to try and window it to whatever resolution/aspect ratio it had defaulted to then made my way into the settings and set everything proper from there. If it's being dumb still try alt and enter until it 'takes'.

Ok i got this working
scour the entire screen with your mouse cursor do this slowly and what your looking for is to highlight the button. your cursor will be nowhere near the actual button then once on the menu do the same method again to change settings.
it is EXTREMELY fiddly and glitchy but with enough patience you can do it.

yup i had the same. follow the above instructions and 'guess' where the cursor actually is rather than where the game thinks it is. the resolution is off and causes things to graphically place the cursor elsewhere.

For me the cursor worked perfectly fine. I found the answer in the pinned "Krater support 101".
