>Build a home and deal with a killer herd of Dumoraffes that don't want to leave my house alone.
>Make a second creature to help with hunting and harvesting.
>Finally get to the point where I need the second relic.
>Go to the first temple and get killed by the stupid plant about 5 times.
>Finally break the egg and watch the relic ping off into space.
>Die again.
>Come back and look all over the place for the relic, failing to find it.

I learned this game is MUCH easier if you are not rushing it. And remember you can get relic WITHOUT batteling the monster :D

Oh I know, I was playing ring around the rosie with it.

And I wasn't rushing, or at least I wasn't trying to. I needed to get stronger creatures so I could harvest more stuff, which required the second relic. Now I need to restart completely because the relic disappeared.

The boss now defends the relic a bit better since one of the recent patches. I recommend getting a dog snout or even better a snake mouth. Using creatures with those parts the first boss is a bit more manageable, and with the new bonding system you don't have to worry about losing the high value parts when trying to defeat the boss.

The boss wasn't an issue eventually because I just lead it out of the arena and lost it.

The issue was that the relic pinged off into orbit, never to be seen again.

Yes I can see how that would be really annoying. In theory it should still exist somewhere in the world, but finding it is problematic. I'll add a ticket to make sure this is something we address.
