:D yes of course
Doing things like that are starting to get on my nerves, cause it doesn't change Valve's mind and make 'em release HL3. Anyway, now onto the topic, every single sale for the HL series have never ended in HL3's release. No matter how much % the games are off for, last year it was 66%, and everyone tried to confirm HL3, and nup, it never came out. Only when a special is very suspicious should you tell some one, and this sale is far from suspicion.
You couldn't be more correct. After the mass amount of free publicity they recieved in the past week due to misinformation, VALVe absolutely capitalized on it as they should. Especially, considering no publicity is bad publicity when whitin in the next twelve months they are releasing a new hardware solution and their most coveted IP recieved a free name drop alongside their recent Steam Machine press release mere days earlier. Reducing the price to the their number one IP will only help VALVe further solidify it to a broader audience before the eventual release of it's successor. Yet, I must say HALF LIFE 3 is NOT confirmed whatsoever.
