Yes, I want a cheat for the final strider battle.
I have no desire left to continue. I have tried several times, and I find the level of visual and sonic bombardment overwhelming. It's just too much. God mode is not enough, is there a code for the console that will let me skip the battle and launch the missle? I just want to see the epilogue.

Do you use magnuson device to kill Striders and nearby objects to kill Hunters with gravity gun?
sv_unlockedchapters 99 unlocks all the chapters, and from there, you could play the last chapter, T-Minus One.

Chef, that sounds great! After I type in the code you mentioned above, what code do I input through the console to begin "T-Minus One!"

Thanks very much!!

Just select it from the chapter select menu.

Hey, Chef!

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I've loved the Half-Life series dearly, but certain scenarios are too chaotic for me. While I enjoyed most of the battles because of the tactics required, this final one was overwhelming. Frenetic doesn't begin to describe it. It's like they're holding you down and punching you in the face a la Ultimate Warrior!

I knew that even if I managed to complete the mission, I would only feel a sense of relief that it was over. Perhaps that was what Valve intended, but the process would not be enjoyable for me.

Again, thank you!

I played HL2:ep 2 on the Xbox, so correct me if I'm wrong, but can't the car you're given run over the Hunters so that you can beat the living snot out of the striders afterwards?

Yes, of course it also works on the PC version. This fight is not that hard once you know how to kill the enemies, and do not make strategic mistakes (like getting too busy fighting hunters at a distant point of the map, while ignoring a strider that reaches and destroys the base).

I hate that battle SOOO much. I have terrible aim, and im at the sawmill like 'ok, one down, he says theres more coming but they not here? then i find out that they go everywhere, which is annoying being only able to carry one magnade, and the buildings break. i have terrible aim, so thats pretty hard for me too. i will still try to beat that or get far, but if not, i know what 2 use as last resort. thx

i only died once, but i did live some pretty long lives, which were very frustrating, too. Worse than the hunter ambush on the mountain. That bad.
