Will it work on Windows 8?

Just bought this game, just wanted to know if it works on Windows 8 before I install it.

If it worked on 7, it'll work on 8. I'm downloading it now and I'll report back when I can.

I just installed it.

Every time I try to run it, it starts the loading sequence and then crashes right before it gets to the menu screen
