I mean you probably should say what you do and what happens instead of "no way past".
One known problem is that it doesn't work right unless run in XP compatibility mode, but I don't think you'd see those symptoms for that cause.
Hm, I'm not running in XP compatibility mode. Maybe that's my problem. How would I do that?
