Thanks for bringing the Linux port over to Steam!
Gonna be figuring it out for a while, but it's good to see it pop up on my library =)

Indeed thank you for putting it up, as i've said before to you I hope it works out well and look forward to an update to later versions with DLC support (i hope it happens).

No problem, it would have been much quicker if I was familiar with linux, but I have to outsource that side of it.

Out of interest is there a reason you aren't looking into it yourself to save yourself money and just make things easier in the long run?

I'm unbelievably busy, that's the only reason!

Is there a chance to also port the demo? Trying games before purchasing them would also normalize the Linux gaming experience

I've tried the method mentioned in your link, the standalone version works but is unstable & it fails miserably for the steam version making the game unplayable, for me at least.

Again, thanks!

These are the sort of games I play on the go. I've owned GSB since it first appeared on Steam but never had a chance to play it as it wasn't available on my Linux laptops. Finally checking it out now and having a great time.

Thanks for doing this Cliffski. Just out of curiosity have you seen an increase in interest since doing this for us? Has it been worthwhile?

If you are going to try linux, try the one that Valve Corporation itself recommends which you can find at the bottom of this page http://store.steampowered.com/about/ you'll see a penguin visible. :D
Also your game page misses linux system requirements completely.
