Thank you for this list. I have tinkered with GSB mods a while back, and they all where not that well done (some where WIP, obviously, but stil), so I stopped bothering.

Seeing your rather big active list, I might try again.
Any of those exceptionally good, in your opinion? Or "just" good enough?
I always prefer quality over quantity.

Well,the GSB modding community has,unfortunatly,died down,so the WIP mods will never get finished. However,most of the mods I listed are,in fact,completed,and all of the best ones are in this list as well.

The best of the best,however,are Praetorian Industries,Xedilco,The Ghosts,Experimental Hulls,Classic Dreadnoughts,The Legios,Uni-T,the Union and the Glactic Concordium.

I will check them out. Some I already have checked, in fact, and they look mostly very promising and also "canon" - like, which I really like in mods.
Who knows, maybe I try to finish or expand some myself.
Thanks again, you have re-ignited my interest in GSB modding.

What do you mean by 'Screwing everything up'? If you download a mod,read the 'README' file in the mod,then you should be good. Installing mods for this game is easier than it looks. (The README file will tell you how to install the mod properly.)

Some really good mods out there, and some add so many weapons to the mix that building ships can paralyze with breadth of choice. The only problem is that not all were play-balanced; some were not intended to be play-balanced in the first place.

I do like having a dreadnaught flagship with my fleets though...

I'm gettting it now.

It's insane to combine these AND the campaign in GSB, even on the basic easy difficulty it's hectic.

I had to hack in the Dreadnoughts though, I couldn't afford over 13,000 honor for the hull itself.

Edit: Having problems, but I don't know if they're actually problems.

Edit 2: More problems, it opens up a weird window with all the things I downloaded and if I click "open" nothing happens.
