A helpful Tip

So i just thought i would share one tip that has helped me alot in the game what you do is simple make a new fighter class on this class put one small engine thats all this is a fighter with over 7 speed can be 8 with certain hulls now the cpu will spend gratuitous amounts of shots ( pun intended) shooting at these cheap speedy little decoys o very important make sure you have "last stand" turned on for them so they get out there and zip around make them escort ships as well in small numbers 6 will do just to help redirect enemy fire from your more vaulable ships hope this helps
