This game is hard but fair however the learning curve can turn a lot of people away. It's steep. Not as steep as the first game's, but still steep in comparison to other games on the market.
If you like harder games, you'll probably really enjoy this game. Otherwise you might be better off with something else.
the stalker series is plagues with bugs, however it's one of the most unique and atmospheric games available. It's similar to a very open-ended deus-ex. The reason why the game isn't a "best of" title is due to various performance and game related bugs that were never addressed. This game series has spawned whole cosplay communities in russia dedicated to it, and heavily influenced similar titles such as metro 2033.
