--MISERY-- Minor Tutorial!
I decided to talk about how to begin life on the Black Road. My last game in the video explains this:

There is a tab in the Description if you wish to skip directly to STALKER.

ahh, you have Banished as well do you? Good. Am looking forward to the mods, and Dukas is already working on an update.

I shall be appreciative of your MMT when the latest version of Misery is ready. I am sure I will need to read it through before I even poke me nose out the door. I won't be doing Black Road, but there will be tips and pointers to help the general game-play I am sure, so THANKYOU Zero.

The tips and hints will kind of support either gameplay style, Black Road or normal. I haven't done normal so I don't know how that works but the people and things to interact with should remain the same. Thanks for the support!

I'm interested in re-trying Misery again, i see it's now 2.1 beta. Is it still reccomended to grab Misery 1.0 and the patch? Or is 2.1 better than 2.0? The main deal breaker is , Does the player still stand still and make an annoying eating sound each time you eat something? Or pause whenever using medicines?

The 2.1 version has an upgrade version to it now and it seems to fix a lot of crashing for me. I have never crashed once since that one. You will always stop when eating and taking meds but there are some items that shorten the time taken so you can invest in those.

Eh. I think I would wait until the beta is finalized.

It's still VERY laggy. I can freeze for up to 15 seconds before it continues, but at least it doesn't crash lol.

I like to save A LOT. Version 2.0.2 didn't like that and after a certain number of saves my game broke. I didn't have as much trouble with 2.0.1. I managed to play through with version 2.0.1 but several of the scientist missions were broken.

I have 2 main saves with maybe 1 checkpoint. The game takes forever to reach the menu though, about 15 seconds upon hitting esc.

2.1 runs pretty well for me.I have 5 hard saves just incase the others corrupt somehow.

I changed it to DX11 and it now crashes consistently. Even changing back to the old setup doesn't fix it, I'm stuck on a crashing loop. The engine is simply bad for this type of mod and sadly it will most likely never change.

Misery 1.1 is far more stable than 2.0 or 2.1 , though, for a free mod it's got some awesome stuffs to it. If you need help getting it to run more stably. Empty the contents of the "bin" folder into the main directory, do NOT run in compatability mode, and only use "Enhanced lighting" , don't use any of the higher end functions.

Whats this mod called "I work alone" or something? I saw a post somewhere that it was like misery lite.

Good to know I'm not the only one experiencing this bs. I'm new to the mod and just figured it was my cpu bottlenecking or something. Despite the issues, the mod is badass.

Love Misery but really, the instability is what kills it for me. Got all the way through most of jupiter to where i was about ready to go to pripyat. Game was freezing up for 10 seconds every few hundred meters, framerate plummeted, i deleted all save games cept for the one i use. Still nothing, just had to put her down. I now use Complete + arsenal + the one where there's T.v.'s in the skadovsk and all stations, way too easiy now but meh, least i get to stay in the zone x.x
