Wrong spawn location for a first run

I am going to play a stalker game for the first time.

I installed 4 recommended graphics mods : atmosfear 3, absolute structure 1.0, absolute nature 4.01, and ironsight 1.1.
Thing is, one is these mods change the very first spawning point, and made me miss the introductory NPC, which is pretty annoying for a first run.

So do you know if these mods modify other things from the vanilla game ? Should I uninstall one of them ?

Don't remember that character ever existing. You sure its not just a wandering stalker ?

As I understand they only enhance the graphisms and are not supposed to affect the gameplay

Hum I checked a couple of youtube videos, and this character is always there at the beginning.
I am actually starting the game at a different location. I should be at the north east of the map, and i spawn north west, on a road

I don't mind walking to the original spawning point, I just hope that is the only modification to the game.

We can see the map with the original spawning point at 5:35. I am now spawning on the road north west.
At 8:30 is ths first contact with a stalker. I checked on other videos, the name is diffferent every time, but the location is the same.

It's just an unimportant NPC. You don't really need to talk to him.

The mod that changes the starting location is Absolute Nature. I don't know the reasoning behind the change though.
