No mouse after completing the three trials

as in subject.

I complete the three trials (mace throwing, smashing baskets, hammer ball) and then when the choice between the sword and hammer tornament comes up, I have no mouse and need to alt-f out of the game.

has anyone else encountered this problem?

never mind, I put it into windowed mode and the mouse came back.
