Multiplayer Issues.
Hey !
Me and my friend both bought Serious Sam 3 , with the Jewel of the Nile dlc.

We've been trying to get multiplayer to work without any luck , can't connect to one and other.

Singleplayer, and online games work, but not when we try to connect to the same server / lan games.

Any Ideas ? NAT and routers are correctly tuned and so on.

Have you tried playing on some public servers, or only tried one of you hosting? The former often works much better.

Public works, but when I connect to the one he's in..I can't get in, and vice versa.
getting gray hair over this !

Well, if both of your routers are so called "restrictive NAT" type, then you can't connect to one another. That's just a limitation that happens for all kinds of peer to peer traffic. You would need to have a 3rd side act as a server.

"The DLC contains a new single-player campaign and competitive game modes for the game's multiplayer mode. New achievements are also included."

So - no Coop-Campaign?

Does the Main-Game version of the game contain a vs.-multiplayer-mode?

Does every player needs the Jewel of the Nile-DLC or only the host, if they want to play the Campaign together?

thx

That wikipedia article is probably too broad. That description is fit for the Xbox360 version. On Steam, all versus and coop modes are availavle in the main game, and the DLC is the new campaign levels, which are playable in sp and coop. All clients need the DLC to play.
