Serious Sam 3: BFE -> Crash to Desktop at the end of every Level after more than 30 min. Safegame time...
Hi,

I got the Serious Sam Collection yesterday and played the first Level (Summer of Cairo) and the Game crashes to Desktop at the Cutscene (there where normally the score should comming).
This happens not if I rush the Level or if I play in Multiplayer Coop.
I hope someone can help me.
I tried to reistall the game, the pubic Beta, playing in Window, low Graphics, nothing helps.
I hope someone can help me here...

The log doesn't show a crash, it is just cut off. This situation is very rare and can be hard to diagnose. Theses lines are strange:

Yes, the game only quit and I'am back on desktop.

Yes, I have done an Alt-Tab to see if the log was added or wrote new. But it happes also if I do it not. I have savegames of the working rush in easy Mode and the non working in normal Mode.
I wondering why this quit happens if I play the Level more intensive and when I rush it works :/
I'll try to play longer in easy mode... maybe it crashes there too and I try to rush in normal mode, maybe it works there too... I'll be back in while :-)

Hello, I'am back...
The cut off happens if the Gametime is longer than 30 Min.
I rushed to the End of Map and saved the Game. Than I go into the Museum and I can do it until 29:50 Mins over 30 Mins it cut off... Can anyone confirm that?

Hm, only after 30 minutes? Perhaps it could be caused by overheating. Can you please try lowering the performance settings?

Hey AlanL,

only after 30 Min. Safegame time! I have an Safegame with 29:50 Min. Everything works well if I end the Level. If I waiting 11 Seconds and end the level than it cut off... same on Ultra or Low.
Tried more than one Safegame, everytime the Game breaks after 30 Min. Savegametime...

Yes I can do... but it takes some time :-)

Edit: Same... Game runs before 30 Min. and cut off after it :(

That's totally strange. A total stab in the dark, but perhaps try to delete the Bin/ folder of the game and then doing verify game cache to get a fresh one. Small chance, but it might help.

Steam reload 3 Files but it change nothing :(
What happend exactly after 30:01 Mins? I tried yesterday an fresh Steam with an fresh DL of SS3... Wait upto 30:01 and walk into the museum -> Same, the Game cut off, there where should appear the Scores after the Cut scene....
