SS3 BFE Linux Code Guard Activated..

Hi,

I bought SS3 BFE on Steam. I runnin on Fedora 17 64 bit with nvidia 313.09 drivers. The game start, but while loading first level it puts "Please Wait Saving Game..." and nothing happens just black screen. I can step back the ingame menu with ESC. Here is the messages from console:

ERR: File signature verification failed. (Content/SeriousSam3/All_01.gro)
ERR: Code guard was activated due to application malfunction. Please report.

I tried download again the game files, but i get the same problem.

This is simple. This error:

ERR: File signature verification failed. (Content/SeriousSam3/All_01.gro)

Means that the file on disk is damaged. Probably bad install. The rest is just sideeffects of broken data.

Do the "Verify game cache" and Steam should correct the installation.

Heyheyhey, its working. I checked it three times, and now running flawlessly on my Alienware under Fedora Linux 64bit. Yeah, Thanks AlenL. Im going to kill some bugs :-)
