SS3 running but frame rate is terrible
After finally buying this game and looking forward to playing it, i found it to load very slow and the frame rate is hardly playable it even dropped to 0.75 at one point. My computer is a quad-core, got good ram and good graphics card. But even after lowering all settings to low it still is juddering like hell and loading very slow. any help?

Are you playing the moddable version?

I had to actually roll back drivers since the newest drivers of both nvidia and amd are terrible.

is the log file in /steamapps/common/serious sam 3/log? if so which file ive got four log files in there:

do you, by any chance, have Bulldozer AMD CPU?

I have now changed my graphics card to a HD Radieon 6450 and yes i believe my processor is an AMD Bulldozer but still have poor frame rate and is still unplayerble.

I have a 4870 and it runs the game just fine. If you are certain you have an AMD FX processor, read this:
