LVL 5 boss is so damn hard

the spaceship is so hard to kill once the big bulls are dropped am dead and am playing on Normal! Is there a way to play only this part of lvl 5 online so i can get some help?

You can't start a level from there online, as you can't save progress.

Anyway, that has always been quite hard for everyone, and I can only suggest you to change tactic if the current one doesn't work.
There are some ammo boxes around and you can try changing places, or use a different weapon, but other than that I don't remember anything other to suggest.

Oh yeah, whenever you pass an "horde" without losing too much health, you can always quick save, as that may help you alot.

The only thing I can think off on this Level that I call a Strategy is good timing LOL.

This works for me....Not sure for others but for me It does. BTW when I played it first time I recorded it and die couple of times lol

Thing is. When the spaceship arrive (make sure tho u have enough Rifle Ammo and Rocket Ammo to the max). Once the spaceship start attacking, Keep an eye on those opening doors that teleport those aliens into ground. once those doors open. Keep shooting at those opened teleporting thing from the ship with the rifle. (Bullet speed is much faster than the rocket Speed to impact that teleport door thing). The quicker u attack those teleporting doors thingy, the better the chance of lesser enemies approaching from the ship to the ground. As the number of damages to those doors increase it will trigger the spaceship to close the doors faster. Keep repeating while strafing. In doing so this can result in not much enemies to spawn from the spaceship when enough damages occur to the spaceship.

You will get an Achievement after beating that boss on that level. FOR NOW :p

used god mode and beat it than i come to lvl 6 and its even harder! screw this and screw the damn squid chopper this is so hard its just annoying to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ many spawing enemies soon i will smash my laptop in the floor in rage

Umm, this game is about a lot of spawning enemies. If it's too hard on Normal (it is a skill based old-school FPS after all) just try Easy.

best way to kill the ship. play the level over but this time pick up the secret cannon on top of one of the buidlings and then get the secret cannon ammo. once you have that save that for the boss. one charged cannon ball to the glowing weakspots on the ship takes a chunk of health out of it. 4 charged cannon balls to weakspots should kill the ship in about 3 minutes if you dont die.

edit: if you dont know what where the cannon is exactly look it up on google. type in under the iron cload secreate cannon and secret ammo

not to sound annoying but the cannon would have killed the chopper with one charged cannon ball. that cannon helped me a lot during the chopper and the ship boss

I just beat level 6 after being stuck on the first area of it all day yesterday. I watched a Youtube video of a guy playing through it, and he encountered much fewer enemies than I did even though he was playing on the same difficulty level, he didn't encounter the technopolip at all, and I noticed he used sprint a lot and didn't stand his ground. That's when I realized that enemies will just keep spawning (up to a point) if you stay in the area, so instead of clearing the area entirely as I was trying to do, I forced my way through to the large open area behind the buildings, and the technopolip never showed up, and much fewer of each enemy spawned.

The same tactic worked in the rest of the level too, I just sprinted past the slower enemies like the spiders and even an adult arachnoid unless they got directly in my way.

It was easy for me, and I finished the game in Serious mode.

- Just shoot its spawn beacons with Rocket Launcher or with Cannon (in that level you can find one, but is well hidden).
- Keep Headless Kamikaze away from Sam, you don't need to kill every mob that the airship spawns, it doesn't give points.
- There are a lot of Healt/Armor kits in the arena, run towards them.
- Don't forget to use QuickSave function.

The Technopolip Helicopter can be easily killed if you wait for it to attack you, because it doesn't move while shooting. It might be a dangerous tactic, but that's how you do it.

Also didn't knew Croteam used spawn disabler scripts in SS3, huh. I myself always killed all the enemies at the start of lvl6, wasn't too hard.

We didn't do despawning initially, but had to patch it in later on some levels because speedrunners would kill the performance. Is that what you mean?
