Serious Sam 3 Update 180520

Build 180520 for Serious Sam 3 is released.
If you have previously opted into public beta, you already have this.

Here are the changes:

- Fixed a crash after initial dialog on Silent Riddler that happened on some machines.
- Fixed problem with black screen when aiming with assault rifle weapon and post-processing effect allows very high exposure range.
- Fixed crash when entering Extras menu in Bulgarian locale.
- Added safety checks to prevent faulty drivers from crashing when they try to load GLSL shaders cached by older versions of driver.
- Multiplayer: Fixed speed hack cheat detection sometimes erroneously marking players as hacked.
- OSX: Split screen is now supported on OSX.

Works ok so far. No new issues were found. Netrica HUD crashes has been fixed. Also it's not blank any longer.
Only two things bothering me.
1) Why when kleers are killed by sledgehammer we see blood on the screen?
2) Random and very rare textures and lights flickering. It's present as long I play this game, so sounds like Nvidia drivers specific issue. It's not multithreaded rendering related. I'll play SS3 with Fraps in background and will try to record short movie when this problem occurs and post it in new thread.

I hope the next update will fix these annoying micro stutters. I never had them until the last update which said "Fixed Microstutters".
Also, the game crashes sometimes when opening Netrisca (Playing on Mac)


And a few suggestions for future updates:

- When playing Coop survival in Splitscreen and someone dies, how about this player gets kicked out of the game after a few seconds and the screen layouts changes to fit the player amount still alive. Like im playing 3 player Coop, one dies and the game swiches to a 2 player layout.

- When playing Coop, Survival with Controller and the last player dies, the game switches instantly into the menu because the button for "go to the menu" must be the fire/run or jump button. Sometimes when theres a lot of action and last palyer dies, he changes accidentally options since he is still pushing buttons.
Could the "go back to the menu" button be change to "back/select" to prevent this issue?

- An Option to not just auto cycle maps, but shuffle them with the option to select only the maps you want to have in the rotation.

Thanks for the problem reports. We will look into them and see what can be fixed. Regarding map cycling options, if you want to go into detailed server customizations, there are some cvars for that. You should be able to specify your own order of maps, IIRC, so you can make a long shuffled list if you like.

Thanks for the info. Will these cvars work with a local game in Splitscreen?

And some Strings are not translated in German yet. I Made a screenshot of the untranslated parts with a german Translation in Red. Maybe that helps :)

The cvars like prj_strMapList don't care whether it's a split screen or networked game, so that should work either way. I haven't tested it though, so I cannot guarantee.

1) We cannot reproduce the bug with Kleers, are you sure you didn't receive blood from other enemies that were near?

2) Please send us screenshot or even better a video for this problem. Also please give us your driver version number

Please check if the menu button is one of the mentioned buttons. We tried it and were not able to reproduce but we did find a bug when you press left on a left stick you go into the menu. This will be fixed asap.

I just wanted to try all buttons again when i found a new bug for splitscreen survival. The First Player can have unlimited lives! When he dies, press Fire, B,B,A (On Controller) you will go back to the menu then back to the game and with a you can jump in the game again. i dont think this is intented. After that when both player died my game got flickery while trying to load the level again. after a few seconds i got "cannot load level".

And i found out that D-Pad left will go to the menu. After someone died

Using 3rd person view and holding a sledgehammer come to a kleer very close. Camera switches to 1st person view for a moment. When you kill the kleer using RMB attack then blood will show up on the screen.

#2 Ye I will make a video someday.

#3 Sandwhale eats players at the first underground entrance on Unearthing the Sun. It happens when someone is already underground and other go for nearby laser secret.

[DGA]Lord_♥♥♥♥♥backe@: In coop survival some players are able to rejoin (die and join to the game in progress). Sometimes it's just a message ABC joined the game and he doesn't really join.

Oh wow, the Sandwhale bug can still happen? I've tried reproducing it many times, but haven't seen it since a -long time- ago.

Ye, just go for laser secret when someone is underground.

#1 About kleers: (Ye, I know it is not the most important thing; Just sayin')
There are 2 cases:
1st: You are seeing only kleers on the screen -> you don't see blood when killing them with sledgehammer
2nd: You are seeing kleers and other minsters on the screen -> you see blood when killing them with sledgehammer

still shows me as hacking about 2 min in every coop game. its getting annoying, i don't hack in ANY game especially not in coop-games, what's the point?

so if alrdy posted a discussion on th baord but nobody really seems to even take a look at it also another post going about the same thing didnt gave me any solution to my problem

now my problem is:
i am unable to dload workshop items if dloaded a few in the beginning
but it didnt dloaded em all.
so i started searching and came to that discussion and tried to unsub and resub and all that stuff but even tho i did that i am unable to dload all the items i want i have like3 off em now
but i just want them all if tried to fix this ever since i got it this evening and if no results at all so plz read and respond.
