Crashes on start
Hello,

Game just will not start at all.
I did try to verify cache and then switched to public beta.
Other games (HL1) seems ok.
I guess it might be related to ATI driver update but I am not sure.
Xubuntu 12.04 LTS + fglrx_experimental_12

Seems this is in latest publicbeta for both of you.

First of all, please try deleting the Temp/ShaderCache/ folder in the game installation folder. If that doesn't help, then can you please try to opt out of beta to the current default? Please let me know of results! Thanks!

I opted for beta because game would not start. Ok. I will delete Cache folder.

I can confirm that deleting of containt of the Cache folder has helped. Game starts ok now. Have not tried palying thought. Thank you AlenL
