Id say its very worth it but it just doesn't have those huge battle feel like The originals
I think its because they don't give you enough weapons like the laser or other things like throwinng enough enenmies at you at once but this is seroisly worth it

It worths buying, but yeah, it is different from the originals in a few aspects. Not bad at all though, it's just like an evolution from the originals. A much better one than Serious Sam 2 was.

Also, it has some plenty of huge battles, especially from Level 6 onwards. Not to mention the final level.

Also, it has plenty of mods in the workshop, I recommend Extended Part 1.
whats online like?
my computer will just run it anyway. yes serious sam 2 was a joke

Its a great mix between old Serious Sam games and old school arcade shooters like Duke Nukem,Doom and Quake. It also has some modern elements(sprinting ,reloading and such). From the Online Modes I would say the co-op mode is great fun.
sounds sick

Yes and yes. It does often feel a bit more restrained than the originals, particularly early on, but I don't think that's neccessarily the case. There are some absolutely _massive_ battles. Someone else mentioned the last level, and that's something that sticks out in my mind as being one of the most insane, crazy, ridiculous and awesome moments in the history of gaming.
wow that good!!!

It rocks! If you love blowing up enemies this is your game! It has some good puzzles in there too figuring out where to go and finding things to collect. Up to 16 player co-op on-line rocks!

I think it's everything Duke Nukem should have been. You're a lone wolf badass saving humanity and ripping the eyeballs out of any alien stupid enough to get in your way.. The character is funny and charismatic, without being anywhere near as mysoginist and foul as Duke Nukem.. Now, I haven't played many games the past several years, but these are the best graphics I've ever seen in a game that I've played. You should play it.
yah i liked first nd second encounter
The beginning levels suck.

The later levels are jaw-droppingly epic and only gets better the more you play it.
oh okay

I wouldn't say the beginning levels suck. I think it's been a delibertate ploy by Croteam to make the player think they're getting a more hemmed-in, CoD-like experience only to surprise them when things open up to true Serious Sam style. It makes that first huge battle after wandering out into the desert all the more epic. It was a nice change of pace, too, for a while. I spent those first few hours playing much more tactically and slowly than I ever thought possible in a Serious Sam game, and I enjoyed it. Once the real fighting began though, I never looked back.

I finshed level six and that's how I see it too, Rockhead Gaz. Level six was brilliant. Level two was epic to me too. Three was ok, but I felt like I was getting lost in four. Five, I was fed up with the war broken city, but taking breaks from play always helps in SS. Looking forward to playing more. It's slightly more intelligent that TFE and TSE I think, but still the same core action.

the game has nice large scale battles in very wide and open areas, often full of destroyable cover and ruins, it doesn't feel cramped at all in these parts, and they feel epic, challenging and fun. Also I didn't mind that the first few levels were more of an introduction with scaled down action and difficulty, makes perfect sense to me
