Does it get better?
I've only played the first two levels so far, and although there are some somewhat funny lines, I found everything just bland so far. I mean, like the level design is boring, confusing, and everything looks the same. There really wasn't anything interesting so far, and the same animations are getting boring in the first two levels. I'm wondering, will this be the entire game or does it get better later on?

Yes it does get better. It takes a few levels to warm up.

All the Sam games start off slowly. I think it's to take into account that all players are not veterans of the series.

Indeed, I have lost Sam very often at first, but now I'm glad to replay those levels.

It gets mildly better, not by much. The whole game is too repetitive but then again all serious sam games have been. Play in small doses and it doesnt seem so bland.

I will never understand people that feel urge to express their opinion, repeatedly, about games which they clearly know ♥♥♥♥ about.

Umm, this is a forum, people express opinions here. How would they know that they don't know ♥♥♥♥ about the game? How do YOU know that they don't know anything about the game?

tl;dr Chill.

Because complaining that Serious Sam is too repetitive is like complaining about Civilization having too much diplomacy.

Trust me the game starts slow but when you get into the later levels things start getting better, you'll have 100's .... 1000's of enemies to kill at the same time in some levels. If you want to vary it up a bit you can always get some mods of the work shop and play the moddable version.

I already commented but I was just thinking:

Level two with the spiders and the dark underground part, I liked that lots. The trick to it was to keep your bearings. It wasn't heated but it was good. I liked the look of the start and end of that level too. It was inside the derelict Cairo museum, with vines and webs everywhere, and sun beaming in.

Later on you see how the early levels fit into the plot, (or his journey to get the job done). I like the SS3 plot, and the cameraderie between Sam and the other characters.

The levels heat up as you go along though. There's stunning sets, raw action, and lots of it.

I think: 2 friends, Serious Sam, 1 computer, 1 joiystick, Keyboard + mouse, chips = Friendship forever, awesome game.

It does get much better. Not just "mildly better, not by much" but much better for sure. But if he had played beyond half of the first level he would know that.

Uh, 1. People have a right to state their opinon.
2. 'about games which they clearly know ♥♥♥♥ about'? That makes no sense.

I don't think it seems too repetitive when playing with a friend. It's actually better playing with a friend.

As for me, my favourites are the first few levels(when you in the city).
