Serious Achievements unlocking problem
Today I have played in coop with my friend to the point where you crash your chopper in the middle of the desert - then we decided to leave the rest of the walkthrough till another weekend.

When I quit the game, 28 achievements started appearing in Steam - but previously non appeared during the gameplay. I am sure that I haven't done anything wrong - I haven't used any 3rd party programs or sit in offline mode while playing.

I don't like that all of the achievements were unlocked at the same moment and I am not sure that other won't be unlocked same way - please, if you know a way to solve this - let me know.

OK, just tried to unlock another 2 achievements - they were unlocked in Steam only after I quit the game...

Now I know for sure that something isn't right

ABANDONWARE!

This is caused by Steam servers, last time I got an answear from the developers.
However if you want you can get a program that can reset your achievements and you can start fresh.

SAM will not help me in this case. My friend has this very same problem. He tried and reset his achievements, then started anew, and achievements still were unlocking all at the same time, not when they were opened. I am more concerned if I am not the only one having this issue, how come other just sit quietly?

It saddens me deeply that Alen Ladavac and his crew only care about game crashes and cheaters. Other sh** related to their game and distribution doesn't concern them at all.
Once I will finish the game I will delete all achievements through the tool and will forget that I even played this game.

We do care. But the achievement system is largely in hands of Valve, and there's so many glitches in there. If this was something that happened to everyone (i.e. reproducible) we would have fixed this. But it looks like a Steam glitch happening only to some (rare) people. I'm feel sorry every time I read a post like this, but there isn't much we can do about it. We can fix problems we can reproduce, but not otherwise.
Yeah I have the same problem, I used to not have this problem awhile ago the last time I played, but no matter what the achievements all unlock when I start the game

I would also add that I personally feel sad whenever I see posts like these:

since Croteam is a small team and has been updating their games for many, many years, and keeps doing it. Even if they could do something about this, it's not top priority, and I would rather see them only care about crashes and cheaters (which isn't true anyway) than achievements, which aren't even not working, but are only awarded at the wrong moment.

Developers such as them are a rarity these days and we should show more respect for their work.

You could always play the Fusion 2017 version, which is the current project with active development, and is also meant to fix most of the issues with the older releases, although in this case it would probably be the same since the achievement system is obviously still handled by Steam.

Please close this topic for heaven's sake.
I have permanently deleted their game from my Steam account some time ago and do not wish to be a participant in this achievements nosense.
They said what they had to say and made their point - I see no reason to argue with them or Steam Support.
