[SOLVED] I can't unpause
I'm new to this and I'm using a keyboard (no mouse). Can someone please tell me how to unpause my game?

There's a usually Pause/Break key on the right side of the keyboard, just above the PageUp key. On some shortened keyboards you must hold Fn modifier and press some other key, which has "Pause" written on it.

Hi on this PC there is no num lock and no pause button, is there any other way to unpause the game?
Tried the control settings, there is no pause function to assign the button to.

why is this a thing?

Anubis - if that is so, how come the game is paused? Can you send a photo of the keyboard?

Ahh, the pause button. Made me and my brothers so much pain 11 years ago. Then i found out that there was a pause button

AlenL - the game pauses automatically when alt+tabbing out of it. But of course it only works one way :P I'll try the whole "ctrl+numlock" thing, but there is no pause break key on my keyboard - including the Fn keys.
For now, he only fix for me is just to never tab out, and save often. :P
Sorry for digging out this thread!

On my laptop keyboard without NumLock or Pause/Break keys, the combination "Fn + F12" does the trick. I hope this helps someone.

I don't have a numlock button so i downloaded a program called sharpkeys https://www.randyrants.com/2019/01/sharpkeys-3-9/ and put my ins key in the left then numlock 00_45 on the right. then i saved it. rebooted and now i can press ctrl ins to pause and unpause. ins of course is now numlock.

For those of you finding this with no luck from recommendations above: try Fn + P, worked for me
