Game key revoked

Huh, I just got the account alert that my key for this game got revoked. I bought it it 2014 off of IndieGameStand, what happend?

I was just about to post the same thing. Apparently IndieGameStand shut down badly a couple of months ago. (I had no idea.)

I've never seen anything like this before.

Same, for me. Although mine was a review copy... sometimes that happens. I'm not overly concerned about that. But, seeing people buying it getting their keys pulled from legit sources is a bit concerning.

I know there was some scuttlebutt over keys slated for Indie Game Stand popping up on grey market key sites. Keys that were nevery sold, mind you. So maybe that's related?

first off, I'm sorry for the inconvenience! Due to scam attempts, I have revoked a bunch of keys that, to the best of my knowledge, were not OK. It looks like legit keys ended up in the same file.
I will do my best to fix the problem quickly.
Can you contact me privately reporting your key, please? I'll provide new keys to everyone who is entitled to.

How can we contact you? Also, I cant view my key anymore, because IGS got shut down, and they never actually e-mailed any keys, you could only view them in your profile area. I can show you the reciept from them though.

My game key was revoked as well. I got this game off of IndieGameStand.com (which is now defunct). This isn't okay if people who legitimately bought the game can have their games removed from their library.

You never got paid back from their sales, even when it was on a 4 day discount special sale from 2014? If so, I feel even more annoyed at the original owner of the site.

Just received from steam the same message... weirdly that key from 27th Feb 2016 was revoked just right now.
I guess that I've got key from IGS which already is down, so it makes everything much harder.

Like others said, it's hard to recover game keys since IGS never sent them by email.

Luckily I did receive the money for the special sale. What they never paid is the normal sales.
