This game is easy if you're a perfectionist.
Super Meat Boy is not, as some may lead you to believe, a frustrating game. The game does not play tricks, and it follows its own rules, to the T, one hundred percent of the time.
The game is difficult in that you will die a lot. But that being said, to properly complete a level takes around fifteen seconds on a success, so those deaths are not so much a "death" in the traditional sense in game design, but really more about getting you accustomed to the level than punishing you for bad performance. Deaths are never the game's fault, and usually, you only died because you weren't going fast enough.
If you're a perfectionist, this game will feel very natural to you. Repeating an action again and again until it is graceful and perfect is the core of this game, and what makes it enjoyable. So only pick it up if that sort of repetition, repetition to the end of perfection, and for perfection's own sake, sounds natural. Otherwise, you will likely find this game very frustrating, as you spend seconds in every level trying desperately to focus on timing that seems to be different every time. The timing isn't different. You're just moving differently. And that's imperfect.
