Xbox Or Ps3 Controller For Meatboy?
I was wondering why one would be better D-Pad and button wise?

PS3 controller easily has the better D-pad, but that's not saying much since the 360's is atrocious. But honestly it really doesn't matter with SMB, since it's just left and right digital inputs. But nothing beats a Saturn controller (USB for PC) if you want a amazing D-pad.

Stick-wise, it's just about preference. The DS3 doesn't have the dead-zone the 360 controller has and the sticks are looser. But with SMB it really doesn't matter, I prefer tighter sticks myself. For SMB in general I'd say the tighter the stick the better, which means Razer Onza full "tightness" on left stick, or MLG controller with it's super sensitive sticks.

But it's really about preference and which controller just feels better to use. I prefer the 360, I like the shape and tight sticks and because I don't need to use my middle finger to hold down the trigger.

I have a ps3 controller at the moment and I like it, but is a xbox 360 controller worth buying?

Not if you already like and are accustomed to your PS3 pad. I'd say it's worth it if you give it a shot and end up liking it better. But like I say, if you already enjoy using the DS3, no more needs to be spent.

Depends what console you're used to. If youi've never console gamed, get PS3. The D-Pad on XBOX controllers is horrible. If you can find a decent PC gamepad though, I would get one of them.

I use an xbox 360 controller, but stick to the d-pad for movement. This is largely because there is something wrong with one of my analog sticks which will sometimes cause meatboy to fling himself off the nearest ravine.
