SteamBox (Well, Steam Machines) support
What about support for new Steam consoles? They have good controllers, (well, you know it) and huge audience with SteamOS, SteamBox etc.

Well, I know it is just Linux, but (!) today Tommy has commented new Steam controller, so he is interested in Steam ecosystem (and, well, in SteamOS, I think, as it is a significant part of it).

So, my point is: are there plans to port SMB on Linux NOW (not that in 2010, but NOW), to support not only Linux, but SteamOS (and many gamers with it)?

Super Meat Boy is already ported to Linux. It was part of the Humble Bundle (which included Linux version) so yes, it will be playable on SteamOS (which is Linux).

That said, I'm pretty sure that SMB Linux / SteamOS version is coming to Steam store in the future (because why not).

There is a really said story about "why not". Linux port was not developed by Team Meat, but by another great man, but he has no rights to push it into Steam, and Team Meat doesn't care about Linux (Well, Tommy said that).

so far, Steam Family Sharing is semi-working. ;]
running this game on another account get me 11 achievements at start of FRESH game.
unfortunately it seems that achievements and game states are moved over other accounts / users. this is just sad. :f

the linux port of super meat boy has extremely good performance but with a few bugs. I had weird framerate issues where some stuff was running at the right speed while other animations were going at close to 3 times the normal speed. Very weird. I only wish I could dropbox cloud save with linux/mac/win versions. I've checked out the files and I don't think it's easy to figure out.
