This achievement is for having a total time under a certain threshold for both Light & Dark worlds combined. It probably popped because you played a level with a record time and it lowered your combined level time enough to get the achievement.

In general you need to at least have a A on every level in order to get these (there is a seperate time achievement for each world). Although it is possible to not be fast enough and have gotten an A+ on all levels. Just look for levels where you think you can shave off some seconds and go for a better time.

I should also mention a couple things about these:

1.) I'm fairly certain that grabbing a bandage and then finishing a level gives you slightly more time to get an A+. Make sure that if you're getting a bandage you replay those levels because oftentimes you can get a much better time.

2.) You can use the other characters to get better times. Meatboy is optimal for many levels due to his fast runspeed and good jumping/momentum. There are some levels though where other characters have shortcuts. Most notable are the Kid and Ogmo, who both have double jumps. In some levels you can double jump to bypass certain areas and shave off a lot of time. In the Forest and Hospital this is kinda optional, but some of the other levels like the Salt Factory have the speed times set in such a way that you're expected to find and use the shortcuts.

If you're going for achievements I highly recommend unlocking the Kid. The first level of his warp zone is a real pain, but he's worth it (not to mention you need to do it anyways if you're trying to get Golden God). Of all the other characters he's probably the best replacement for Meatboy. He is slightly slower and has less jumping momentum, but his double jump can be used to clear pretty much any obstacle Meatboy's jumping momentum can, plus it makes some difficult platforming sections easier.

Charachters like naija helped me much more than a faster version of ogmo..
I am working on The Kid now, i can pretty much do his first level flawless but the second part at level 2 is a real pain in the ♥♥♥.
