OS X version is basically non-playable... :(
It really sucks when you are looking forward to something and when it falls in your lap it's straight up broken. I'll keep hoping for a fix but it really is a shame guys...

Yeah it's sad. Not playable at all.

Only works on -windowed -highdetail -1280x720, but hey! it works!

Man thank you! It seems to be the only working setting.

Edit: Just use the OS X zoom feature to play in "fullscreen".

I'm finding this basically unplayable as well, they need to sort games like this out and actually test them before they offer them for sale

Feeling the same right now. Finally picked it up during this summer sale and was just crushed when I realized the max requirements were 10.7 and I'm on 10.8.3. Hopefully they'll get things sorted out and MAYBE (emphasis on maybe) there will be an update...

It was working for me, but then I picked up a controller and then found it doesn't work and there are no plans to fix it for Mac in the future.

I'm uninstalling this game on my Mac OS and moving it to Windows when I have dual boot setup again.

I can't believe this is being sold as working on Mac by Steam.

oh boy....so this is in my cart and was about to buy, but i wanted to glance over the forums to see if i could catch anything..Well, im 10.7.5, will this not work as well? Lame, was all fired up to buy this and rage

Technically it does work... it just only works in windowed mode and without a controller (even though it yells at you to use a gamepad during every launch).

All in all, I have been playing it despite the odd crash here or there...

F...nevermind 10.7.4 is max LOL , this feels very SMBesque with it being off by.1 for me.

Oh, I forgot! I'm running 10.8.4

I did get through most of the first world with the keyboard, but it really feels like this games needs a controller.

I really wish the Mac had a native driver for a wired 360 controller. It seems very few games have full controller support.

At least Castle Crashers has controller support for Macs.

I have controller support with the ps3 controllers for my macs. Everyconsider switching controllers and stopping your frustration?
Swymco Aug 10, 2013 @ 7:25pm
The 360 controller works fine. I do have a PS3 controller if it came I had to. But thought it was the controller settings on the Mac were messed up and the dev was too afraid to fix because he was worried to would mess up other things in the game.
